About Father Cook: Born in Boston in Boston and raised in Pembroke, Father Cook holds a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Dallas. He studied for the priesthood at Mount St. Mary Seminary in Emmitsburg, Maryland. After his ordination he served as parochial vicar at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in New Bedford and St. Patrick Parish in Wareham. Since the summer of 2007 he has been chaplain at Coyle and Cassidy High School in Taunton and part-time chaplain at Morton Hospital in that city. Father Cook is also the assistant director of Vocations for the Fall River Diocese.
