Peace: Let it Begin with Me
Catholic Appeal 2026

This year’s theme, “Peace: Let It Begin with Me,” speaks directly to the call of the Gospel. It reminds us that the mission of the Church begins not somewhere else, but with each of us—through prayer, generosity, and a commitment to serve one another. At the heart of this theme is peace: peace in our hearts, peace in our families, peace in our communities, and peace in our world.

A Three-Year Diocesan Initiative
To strengthen our priests so as to foster vibrant and holy parishes and ministries.

A Time for Fortitude: Stronger Priests, Stronger Parishes, Stronger Church is Bishop da Cunha's vision for the future of our Diocese centered on strengthening our priests. This three-year plan (2025-2027) focuses our local Church on moving forward in our relationship with Christ by actively working toward bringing to our priests more stability, hope, holiness, and wellness. Strengthening our priests will, in turn, strengthen all parishes and ministries in holiness and vitality.
