A Eucharistic Procession through the streets of New Bedford will take place on the Feast of Corpus Christi with stops at several city churches, offering participants an opportunity for prayer, worship, and fellowship.
The procession will begin at Our Lady’s Chapel, located at 600 Pleasant St., across from the library and near City Hall, and continue to St. Lawrence Martyr Church, Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish, and Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church.
Eucharistic Benediction will take place at each station church along the route. Participants are invited to join for the entire procession or for any portion of it.
A shuttle bus will be available for transportation back to Our Lady’s Chapel, and accommodations will also be provided for mobility-impaired participants wishing to take part.
The evening will conclude with a potluck supper immediately following the procession at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish.
