The Diocesan Portuguese Renewal Service Committee is offering this annual Portuguese Charismatic Conference with the theme of Synodal Church: Communion, Participation & Mission. It will take place on Friday evening, beginning at 6 p.m., and on Saturday, from 8 a.m. to approximately 4:30 p.m.
The Conference program will include Sessions of Praise and Worship; a main presentation of Friday night and three talks on Saturday; workshops; and concluding liturgies – Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, Prayer of Intercession and Healing, Blessing, and Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament.
Those who are interested in attending are asked to contact a leader of one of the Diocesan Portuguese Prayer Groups: Espirito Santo Parish Prayer Group, Fall River; Our Lady of Mount Carmel Prayer Group, New Bedford; Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Parish Prayer Group, New Bedford; or St. Anthony Parish Prayer Group, Taunton.
