DESCRIPTION:The National Eucharistic Pilgrimage will be taking place this June in honor of America’s 250th Anniversary\, and it’s passing through the Diocese of Fall River.  \nThe pilgrimage will process the Eucharist from St. Augustine Florida\, traveling through the original 13 colonies\, to its eventual conclusion in Philadelphia Pennsylvania on July 4th. The pilgrimage will travel through our Diocese of Fall River Monday\, June 29th through Tuesday\, June 30th. Opportunities to take part in the pilgrimage through Mass\, Eucharistic processions\, and Adoration will take place in Easton\, New Bedford\, and Fall River. \nAll are welcome to participate in the pilgrimage\, as we pray for our church\, Diocese\, and country. DESCRIPTION:As the National Eucharistic Pilgrimage is welcomed to the Diocese of Fall River\, join us for Noon Mass at The Father Peyton Center\, celebrated by the Most Rev. Edgar M. da Cunha\, S.D.V.\, Bishop of Fall River. Upon arrival at The Father Peyton Center\, there is free and convenient parking in the back parking lot. Simply follow the driveway in\, and veer right when you approach the fork. Additionally\, there will be an overflow parking lot\, if needed\, with signs directing pilgrims. After Noon Mass\, pilgrims will have a short amount of time for Eucharistic Adoration\, followed by the procession. \n  \n

The procession will begin at Our Lady of the Assumption Parish – the oldest Cape Verdean Parish in the country – stop at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish\, concluding at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish. The procession will be followed by an Evening of Eucharistic Encounter at Our Lady of Mount Carmel. Limited parking lot is available both at Our Lady of the Assumption Parish and Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish. A shuttle will be available between these two parishes beginning at 5:30 PM before the procession\, as well as after the conclusion of the Eucharistic Encounter evening at 9 PM.
