• During this time of social distance, our children and teens are connecting online now more than ever. Technology can be a tremendous blessing and allow the work of school and faith formation to continue.  Monitoring and ensuring that our children’s online interactions are safe must be a priority. Reach out to the Office of Safe Environment (508-675-1311) if you have any questions or concerns about Diocesan school or church online interactions.

• The Office of Safe Environment staff is working remotely and remains committed to the mission of protection throughout the Diocese.  In these uncertain times, we are aware that those who have suffered abuse in the past may be experiencing additional anxiety and stress as our country navigates this pandemic. • April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month. The Diocese of Fall River would like to remind our diocesan community that we must work together to ensure our children are protected and safe.  We remain committed to helping survivors and their families heal and find peace. If you, or someone you know, is a victim of sexual abuse by a Church clergy member, employee or volunteer we are here to listen and we want to help. • A Message to Families from the Office of Safe Environment
  Dear Diocesan Families,
  It is hard to keep track of the calendar these days, but we want to acknowledge that April is National Child Abuse Prevention month. The Diocese remains committed to protecting our children and young people. While we cannot gather together as a faith community right now, we ask you to join us in prayer for the protection of children and the healing of those who have been harmed by abuse.
