Permanent Diaconate Information Nights Scheduled Author: Diocese of Fall River Press Releases and Statements 18 Sep 2025 Share Bishop Edgar M. da Cunha, S.D.V., has authorized the formation of a new class for Permanent Deacons for the Diocese of Fall River for the fall of 2027. Those interested in pursuing the vocation of the diaconate beginning with the Aspirancy phase in the fall 2027 are invited to submit a preliminary application. Additional details and a preliminary application is available on the Fall River Diocesan Permanent Diaconate website – fallriverdeacons.com. Over the coming months, general information nights will be held to delve into the process of formation of a deacon for the Diocese of Fall River. These information nights will be held at two locations and also via Zoom.
