{"id":43259,"date":"2025-12-05T14:52:46","date_gmt":"2025-12-05T19:52:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fallriverdiocese.org\/?post_type=employment&#038;p=43259"},"modified":"2025-12-05T14:53:58","modified_gmt":"2025-12-05T19:53:58","slug":"resident-services-coordinator-rsc","status":"publish","type":"employment","link":"https:\/\/www.fallriverdiocese.org\/es\/employment\/resident-services-coordinator-rsc\/","title":{"rendered":"Resident Services Coordinator (RSC)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Position Summary<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Resident Services Coordinator (RSC) plays a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for residents in affordable housing communities. &nbsp;The RSC connects residents to local services and resources, supports their social, educational, and economic participation, and contributes to the overall positive maintenance of the property. &nbsp;This position is integral to the housing and property team and promotes a respectful, inclusive, and thriving resident community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Community Action for Better Housing<\/strong> empowers individuals and families to break the cycle of poverty and homelessness by providing safe, comfortable, and affordable housing, along with essential resources for personal advancement. We serve low-income families and individuals in the New Bedford and Fall River, MA area, including those who are homeless, disabled, or elderly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Key Responsibilities<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Welcome new and existing residents; explain the resident services program and available resources.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Promote a culture of inclusion and non-discrimination.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Develop and maintain partnerships with local service agencies to support resident goals.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide referrals and supportive linkages between residents and service providers; document all efforts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Collaborate with property management to address lease violations and support residents at risk of eviction.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Establish and track program targets; report outcomes to stakeholders and use data for continuous improvement \u2013 including HMIS entry, recertification, and other reporting mechanisms as directed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assess individual and family needs; support residents in accessing services.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Facilitate resident meetings, social activities, and community engagement.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Build professional relationships with residents to support self-sufficiency and life goals.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist in conflict mediation between residents when requested.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure inclusive communication through newsletters, flyers, and other media.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Complete additional housing and resident-related tasks as assigned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Qualifications<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Preferred: Bilingual in Spanish and\/or Portuguese<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Preferred: 2-4 years of experience in non-profit environment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Preferred: Bachelor\u2019s degree in related field OR equivalent relevant work experience<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Knowledge of federal, state, and local resources and agencies<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Familiarity with HUD regulations and affordable housing programs (PBV,MRVP)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Key Competencies<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Flexibility, consistency, and creativity<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong organizational and communication skills<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Respect for diverse identities and backgrounds<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to maintain professional boundaries<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Skilled in mediation, problem-solving, and active listening<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Collaborative team player with community engagement experience<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Requirements<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ability to lift at least fifty pounds<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to stand and sit for extended periods<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must have a valid MA Driver\u2019s License and reliable transportation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to pass a CORI background check<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proficiency in Microsoft and basic data entry systems<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Benefits<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Health, Dental, &amp; Vision Plan on Day One<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>403B Tax-deferred Retirement Account<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Paid Time Off<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Life Insurance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Short &amp; Long-term Disability<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Position Summary The Resident Services Coordinator (RSC) plays a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for residents in affordable housing communities. &nbsp;The RSC connects residents to local services &hellip;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"template":"","tags":[],"job_catagories":[189],"class_list":["post-43259","employment","type-employment","status-publish","hentry","job_catagories-diocesan-offices-ministries"],"pp_force_visibility":null,"pp_subpost_visibility":null,"pp_inherited_force_visibility":null,"pp_inherited_subpost_visibility":null,"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.5 -
