{"id":19480,"date":"2022-10-14T10:16:29","date_gmt":"2022-10-14T10:16:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fallriverdiocese.org\/?p=19480"},"modified":"2024-02-28T22:19:58","modified_gmt":"2024-02-28T22:19:58","slug":"hispanic-community-invited-to-workshop-on-living-the-process-of-the-synodal-path","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fallriverdiocese.org\/es\/releases-and-statements\/hispanic-community-invited-to-workshop-on-living-the-process-of-the-synodal-path\/","title":{"rendered":"Hispanic Community Invited to Workshop on <i>Living the Process of the Synodal Path<\/i>"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignright\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.fallriverdiocese.org\/app\/uploads\/2021\/11\/synod-288x300.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16889\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>FALL RIVER \u2014 Bishop Edgar M. da Cunha, S.D.V., is inviting members of the Hispanic Community throughout the Diocese of Fall River to participate in a daylong workshop to help facilitate participation in the journey of the Synod 2021-2023 now underway in the entire Church.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cLiving the Process of the Synodal Path in the Hispanic Community within the Church\u201d will take place on Saturday, November 5, at Bishop Connolly High School in Fall River, from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Presenter will be Dr. Maria del Pilar Silveira, a theologian and Visiting Professor at the Boston College School of Continuing Education. She holds a doctorate in Theology from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana de Bogota; a master\u2019s degree in Theology from the Faculty of Theology of Uruguay Mons Mariano Soler; and a master\u2019s degree in Religious Studies from the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome. A scholar and writer, she has had numerous articles published in theological journals and is the author of the book, <em>Latin America Popular Mariology<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The November 5<sup>th<\/sup> program will include three presentations, group work, prayer, and lunch. At its conclusion Bishop da Cunha will present certificates of participation to those in attendance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cost to attend is $15 per person or $35 for families participating with three or four members. Mar\u00eda del Pilar Silveira, te\u00f3loga y profesora visitante de la Escuela de Educaci\u00f3n Continua de Boston College. Tiene un doctorado en Teolog\u00eda de la Pontificia Universidad Javeriana de Bogot\u00e1; una maestr\u00eda en Teolog\u00eda de la Facultad de Teolog\u00eda de Uruguay Mons. Mariano Soler; y una maestr\u00eda en Estudios Religiosos de la Pontificia Universidad Gregoriana de Roma. Acad\u00e9mica y escritora, ha publicado numerosos art\u00edculos en revistas teol\u00f3gicas y es autora del libro Mariolog\u00eda Popular de Am\u00e9rica Latina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El programa del 5 de noviembre incluir\u00e1 tres presentaciones, trabajo en grupo, oraci\u00f3n y almuerzo.
