Jason Evert<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

MASHPEE \u2500 Our Lady of Victory Parish, Centerville, and Christ the King Parish, Mashpee, are co-hosting international Catholic speaker Jason Evert for a double feature of talks aimed at bringing parents and teens together to discover God\u2019s plan for love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The talks, entitled Purified <\/em>and Gender and the Theology of Your Body<\/em>, will be offered on Monday, April 22, at Christ the King Parish, 5 Job\u2019s Fishing Rd., in Mashpee. The first one is set for 6 to 7:30 p.m., the second for 7:45 to 8:30 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Planners of the event explain that in his presentations Evert mixes humor with down-to-earth practicality, making the difficult conversations about love much easier and opening an opportunity to continue the discussion about this important topic at home with resources that work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The evening program will conclude with Adoration, praise and worship, and an opportunity for the Sacrament of Reconciliation, transforming the night into a mini retreat for the whole family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Evert has spoken to more than one million people about the virtue of chastity. He is a best-selling author of more than ten books, including \u201cTheology of the Body for Teens,\u201d and \u201cHow to Find Your Soulmate without Losing Your Soul,\u201d and is the founder of Totus Tuus Press and the Chastity Project. A frequent guest on radio and television programs, he has been featured on Fox News, the BBC, MSNBC, and EWTN.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The cost for both talks is $25 and free resources will be available for every attendee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
