\"\"<\/a>Bring your walking shoes and a bagged lunch to the third annual local Diocesan Walk for Life<\/strong>. The program will feature special guest speaker Franciscan Friar of the Immaculate Father Josemaria M. Barbin. This will be a prayer-filled day with a full agenda:<\/p>\n

8:30 a.m. Registration at the Welcome Center
\nBeginning at 9:00 a.m.
\nRosary for Life in the Church
\nKeynote Speaker: Rev. Josemaria M. Barbin, F.I. in Conference Hall
\nHoly Mass with Bishop Edgar Da Cunha, S.D.V., D.D.
\nBagged Lunch\/Break
\nPrayer Walk to Angell Park
\nAdoration of the Blessed Sacrament and Confessions concluding by 2:30pm<\/p>\n

More on Father Josemaria M. Barbin<\/em><\/strong>
\nInspired by the life and example of St. Maximilian Kolbe, he entered the Franciscan Friars of the Immaculate in 2006. He went on to study philosophy and theology in Italy, and graduated with a bachelor\u2019s degree in theology from the Salesian Pontifical University in Rome. He was ordained to the sacred priesthood on the feast of Our Lady of the Rosary, October 7, 2017, centenary of the apparition of Our Lady of Fatima. As a friar, he currently serves as the Novice Master at the Marian Friary of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Griswold, CT. Fr. Josemaria has appeared on Pints of Aquinas with Matt Fradd and has numerous YouTube videos in which he speaks on various topics from Mariology, the spiritual life, and mental prayer. He has given numerous retreats to Catholic laity and student groups. He will speak on Marianizing the Pro-Life Movement.<\/em><\/p>\n
