Embracing the Father’s Mercy: A Parish Mission

January 25, 2016 @ 8:00 am - 9:00 am

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every day that begins at 8:00 am, repeating until January 27, 2016

Pope Francis inaugurated a Year of Mercy for the universal Catholic Church on December 8, 2015. Mercy is one of the hallmarks of Christianity and can often times be a challenge to both embrace and practice. St. Mary’s Parish in South Dartmouth is offering this Mission to help embrace the Father’s Mercy and share it with others. Father Kevin MacDonald, a Redemptorist priest, will lead the Mission. He will lead Mission talks twice daily January 25, 26 and 27. The first talk will be delivered in the context of the 8 a.m. daily morning Mass on those weekdays and the second one in the evening at 6:30 p.m. St. Mary Parish invites all to the Mission so that together all can experience mercy and allow it to transform their lives. Please consider bringing someone who may be struggling with mercy.
