Holy Hour for Reparation and Healing
In light of the recent scandals in the Church, Bishop Edgar M. da Cunha, S.D.V., has asked that a Holy Hour for Healing and Reparation be held in each deanery of the Fall River Diocese on Friday, October 5, at 7 p.m. Bishop da Cunha will preside at a Holy Hour at St. Mary’s Cathedral in Fall River at that time. Other Holy Hours will take place simultaneously at these parishes: Christ the King, Mashpee; St. Mary-Our Lady of the Isle, Nantucket; St. Mary, New Bedford; St. Mary, Norton; and St. Ann, Raynham. It is the hope that many of the faithful of the Diocese will join together in pray at the same time in the presence of our Lord for healing, reparation and mercy. All are welcome.
On Martha’s Vineyard, a Holy Hour for Healing and Reparation will take place on that date but at one hour earlier. It will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. at St. Elizabeth Church in Edgartown.
