Honoring Servant of God Father Patrick Peyton

Holy Cross Family Ministries invites all to this multi-part event to honor its founder Servant of God Father Patrick Peyton, C.S.C., “the Rosary Priest,” in recognition of the 23rd anniversary of his death. The event will also celebrate the presentation of the Positio, a 1,300 page study of Father Peyton’s life and ministry, to the Congregation for the Causes of Saints in Rome. (The presentation is an important step in the cause for his sainthood.) Event schedule is as follows: 4 p.m. Rosary at the Grotto at Stonehill College, followed by a Eucharistic Procession to Father Peyton’s grave where prayers will be offered and a continued procession to St. Joseph Chapel for a 5 p.m. Mass. Bishop Edgar M. da Cunha, S.D.V., will be among concelebrants of the liturgy. An outdoor tented reception at the Father Peyton Center will conclude the day. In case of rain, all activities will take place inside St. Joseph Chapel. Shuttles will be available to transport participants to the various sites. Please RSVP Rosemary at 508-238-4095, ext. 2014 or by e-mail RChaves@HCFM.org Read the event flyer: Peyton Anniversary 2015 flyer
