Summer Catholic Reflections: “Palliative Care: What it is, and Why it is Important”

MC Sullivan, RN MTS JD, who serves as the Director of Palliative Care and Advance Care Planning for the Archdiocese of Boston, will look at “Palliative Care: What it is, and Why it is Important” to close out the Summer Catholic Reflections 2016 Speakers Series. She explains that her talk will examine the correct understanding and application of Palliative Care, how it differs from hospice care, and how best to access it. It will also address why it is important not only to individual patients and caregivers, but also to society as a whole. The Summer Catholic Reflection series is jointly sponsored by Our Lady of Victory Parish, Centerville; Our Lady of the Assumption Parish, Osterville; St. Anthony Parish, East Falmouth; and Christ the King Parish, Mashpee.
