Tenebrae, Latin for “Darkness,” begins with a lit candelabra prominently displayed. As the service progresses, the candles are snuffed out one by one, until only one is left – a symbol of the promise of Christ’s triumph over death and darkness. All are welcome to join the Stonehill College community at 7 p.m. in the Chapel of Mary on the Monday, March 30th, as the Chapel Choir and ensemble lead this powerful service.
