DESCRIPTION:The National Eucharistic Congress to take place this summer from July 17-21 in Indianapolis will be the first of its kind in 83 years! It is expected to draw over 80\,000 people from across the country for a wide range of programming including international speakers\, liturgies and more! This Congress seeks to revive Eucharistic devotion among Catholics and prepare them to be sent out “for the life of the world.” \nThe Diocese of Fall River is working to secure discounted group rates for the faithful from our diocese desiring to attending the National Eucharistic Congress. DESCRIPTION:“Igniting the Light of Christ Within You” is the theme of a Lenten Mission being co-sponsored by Our Lady of Victory Parish\, Centerville\, and Our Lady of Assumption Parish\, Osterville\, Monday through Wednesday\, February 19\, 20 & 21. \nIt will feature Paul Koleske\, is a contemporary Catholic Christian inspirational speaker\, musician\, composer and recording based in Lake Geneva\, Wisconsin. Paul’s ministry teaches listeners how and why they are already wired to succeed in building themselves and the church while discovering God’s purpose for their lives. He shares practical techniques people can use to increase their connection with the Presence of the Holy Spirit\, the Risen Christ’s gift to His disciples. \nThe mission will be held each day at noon at Our Lady of Assumption Church\, 76 Wianno Ave.\, Osterville\, and repeated at 6 p.m. at Our Lady of Victory Church\, 230 South Main Street\, Centerville. \nDaily session topics are as follows: \n\nMonday February 19: “Connecting with the Light of Christ”\nTuesday February 20: “Experiencing the Light of Christ”\nWednesday February 21: “Living the Light of Christ”\n\nMore information can be found on olvparish.org. DESCRIPTION:St. John the Evangelist Parish in Attleboro is offering this brief presentation with time for questions on the beauty and benefits of Natural Family Planning (NFP). Resources will also be available. Couples as well as young women are invited to attend. Presenter will be Monica Bergeron\, a Certified Fertility Care Professional. She holds a degree in human biology from Brown University and trained at the Pope Paul VI Institute for Human Reproduction in Omaha\, Nebraska. She is certified by the American Academy of Fertility Care Professionals and is in private teaching practice in Rhode Island.
