DESCRIPTION:In the spirit of the National Eucharistic Revival\, Saint Anne Shrine invites all to take part in this special Eucharistic Weekend\, Friday\, May 31\, through Sunday\, June 2. All events will be held in the lower church. \nBishop Edgar M. da Cunha\, S.D.V.\, will celebrate a 6 p.m. Mass on Friday to open the weekend and will also bless the Adoration Chapel. SUMMARY:Quo Vadis Retreat
DESCRIPTION:Quo Vadis Retreat is a 4-day overnight camp for young Catholic men of high school age (13-18) to deepen their faith\, grow in virtue\, learn more about all vocations\, and better discern God’s calling in their lives. The Diocese of Fall River is partnering with the other Catholic dioceses in New England to offer this retreat opportunity. DESCRIPTION:Bishop Edgar M. da Cunha\, S.D.V.\, will celebrate a Mass during which 11 men will be formally admitted to candidacy for the Permanent Diaconate in the Diocese of Fall River. The prospective candidates are the eleventh class for the Permanent Diaconate of the Diocese and have been in the formation program for nearly two years. Admission to candidacy occurs when the prospective candidates have reached maturity of purpose and have demonstrated other necessary qualifications along with their completion of the required preparatory steps. \n
