DESCRIPTION:This is the final session of a three-part Pro-Life Advocacy Workshop held on Cape Cod. Presenter will be Linda Thayer\, who taught science for thirty-four years in the Boston Public Schools and has done pro-life / pro-family presentations for over 250\, 000 teenagers in the greater Boston area. She served as a member of the Massachusetts Citizens for Life Board from 2005 to 2018\, headed up the MCFL Speakers Bureau\, and has served as a consultant for the Archdiocesan Pro-Life Office. \nEach session will take place at Corpus Christi Parish Hall in East Sandwich\, beginning at 1 p.m. There is no cost to attend any of the sessions; light refreshments will be served. \nRegistration is required. DESCRIPTION:“The Fire of Love Rekindles Our Hope!” is the theme of the 2025 Fall River Deanery Lenten Mission\, to take place from Monday\, March 31\, through Thursday\, April 3. All are welcome to attend. There will be two sessions offered each day: \n Midday Session \n\nConfessions: 11:15-11:45 a.m.\nMass & Mission: 12 noon\nCathedral of St. Mary of the Assumption\n327 Second St.\, Fall River\, MA 02721\n\n Evening Session \n\nConfessions: 6:00-6:45 p.m.\nMass & Mission: 7 p.m.\nBishop Connolly High School Auditorium\n373 Elsbree St.\, Fall River\, MA 02720\n\nFather Stan Fortuna\, a Franciscan Friar of the Renewal\, will be the mission preacher. Assigned to the work of preaching full-time\, Fr. Stan travels extensively across the country and around the world celebrating Mass\, giving talks\, and performing concerts with any proceeds going to support his religious community’s hands-on  work with poor and underprivileged families. Prior to his becoming a priest\, he was a professional jazz musician. He is founder of the non-profit Franciscan Productions\, which mixes message and music.
