SAVE THE DATE <\/strong>for the second Lumen Christi Cathedral Gala!<\/p>\n

First having welcomed faithful parishioners to worship in 1856 as a parish church, the Cathedral of St. Mary of the Assumption in Fall River has served as the center of the Diocese since 1904 \u2013 the very beginning of the \u2018new\u2019 Diocese of Fall River. Plan to attend this night in celebration of our Mother church and help Lumen Christi \u2013 the Light of Christ \u2013 continue to shine forth from the Cathedral and bless our Diocese and all of the faithful within it.<\/p>\n

All proceeds from this event will support\u00a0repairs and renovations that will help us shine the light of our beloved Cathedral of Saint Mary of the Assumption for years to come.<\/p>\n
