This full-time position consists of Monday through Friday daytime hours, approximately 32\u201335 hours per week, and reports directly to the Pastor.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Primary Responsibilities<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Assist the pastor in the overall administration and daily operation of the parish.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Coordinate the day-to-day functions of the parish office.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Collaborate with the pastor in planning, implementing, and supporting parish initiatives and priorities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Coordinate parish communications, including the weekly bulletin, website, email communications, social media, and parish calendar.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintain and oversee sacramental records and parish databases.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Coordinate parish events and provide administrative support to parish ministries and volunteer leaders.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Develop and maintain office systems and procedures that promote effective communication, organization, and efficient parish operations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Work collaboratively with the parish bookkeeper regarding financial administration, purchasing, and related office operations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Serve as a primary point of contact for parishioners, volunteers, ministry leaders, vendors, and diocesan offices.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist with other administrative responsibilities as assigned by the pastor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Qualifications<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Practicing Catholic with knowledge of and commitment to the mission of the Church.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong administrative and project management abilities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to communicate effectively with parishioners, volunteers, and staff.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn parish management software and other office technology.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Persons interested in the position are asked to forward a cover letter and resume to Father Ryan Healy, Pastor, St. Francis Xavier Parish by mail to St. Francis Xavier Parish, 125 Main St., Acushnet, MA 02743, or by email <a href=\"mailto:frrhealy@diocese-fr.org\">frrhealy@diocese-fr.org<\/a><\/em><br><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>St. Francis Xavier Parish in Acushnet, Massachusetts, is seeking to hire a full-time Director of Parish Administration.
