FALL RIVER \u2013 Bishop Edgar M. da Cunha, S.D.V., D.D., has decreed that, effective October 11, 2021, the Parishes of St. Mary, Our Lady of Fatima and St. Joseph-St. Therese, all located in New Bedford, be suppressed and the new Parish of Saint Gabriel the Archangel be erected with the one worship site at Saint Mary\u2019s Church. Our Lady of Fatima and St. Joseph-St. Therese Churches will no longer be used as worship sites. The pastoral and spiritual care of the people of the three suppressed parishes will be provided by the Priests assigned to the newly-formed Saint Gabriel the Archangel Parish.
