On June 29 and 30, 2026, the National Eucharistic Pilgrimage<\/a> made a memorable visit to the Diocese of Fall River as part of its 2,200-mile journey in celebration of faith and the country\u2019s milestone 250th<\/sup> anniversary. Masses, public processions, Adoration, and other special events took place over these two days in Pilgrimage stops in Easton, New Bedford, and Fall River, drawing hundreds from across the Diocese and beyond to celebrate and honor our Eucharistic Lord. The National Eucharistic Congress has organized this National Eucharistic Pilgrimage<\/a> with a theme of \u201cOne Nation Under God\u201d as a nationwide call to renewal, unity, and mission rooted in the Eucharist as the country observes a significant anniversary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Named the Cabrini Route, after St. Frances Xavier Cabrini \u2013 the first American citizen to be canonized, this Pilgrimage is journeying through most of the original 13 colonies with stops in 18 dioceses, highlighting significant locations in the nation\u2019s Catholic and civic history. A small group of \u201cperpetual pilgrims\u201d from across the country is traveling the entire pilgrimage route. It began on Memorial Day weekend in St. Augustine, Florida, and is moving up the East Coast through New England then back down to its conclusion in Philadelphia on the Fourth of July.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
