HOPE LIGHTS THE WAY, <\/strong>this year\u2019s Annual Catholic Appeal theme, reminds us that when the Holy Spirit acts through us, we can change the world. It is our responsibility to care for others and each year, our gifts to the Catholic Appeal do just that: offering physical, emotional, and spiritual sustenance to tens of thousands in their moments of need, weakness, and uncertainty. There is evidence of the impact of the Catholic Appeal everywhere in our diocese. The Appeal:<\/p>\n

\u2022 Combats homelessness on our city streets\u2026
\n\u2022 Eliminates loneliness and fear in hospital rooms\u2026
\n\u2022 Shines the light of Christ in our schools and churches\u2026
\n\u2022 Bolsters men on their journey to the priesthood\u2026
\n\u2022 Strengthens families seated around dinner tables.<\/p>\n
