The Faith Formation Office of the Fall River Diocese has announced the 2017 winter schedule for its Scripture Alive adult formation program. Scripture Alive offers faith sharing in a group setting using the Loyola Press Six Weeks with the Bible study series. It’s an opportunity for guided exploration of God’s word in the Bible and reflection on ways to respond to it in daily living.
Proverbs: Wisdom for Living will be the focus of the upcoming Scripture Alive winter program to be offered in two locations.
It will take place on Tuesdays, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, at St. John Neumann Parish, 157 Middleboro Road, East Freetown, from January 3 to February 7.
On Thursdays, it will be offered from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at the Faith Formation Office in the Catholic Education Center at 423 Highland Avenue, Fall River, from January 5 to February 9.
Sister of Mercy Francis Thomas will serve as facilitator for both groups.
Cost is $20 for each six week unit and covers the cost of resource book, workbook and other materials.
Deadline for Registration is one week prior to the start of the first session. Space is limited to 12 participants for each group. To register, please call the Office of Faith Formation at 508-678-2828 or visit www.fallriverfaithformation.org
