Missionary, author, singer/songwriter, and evangelist Sean Forrest will headline this concert to benefit Haiti180, an organization he co-founded to alleviate the suffering of the Haitian people and to turn the impoverished nation around.
Forrest’s singing and songwriting talents led him to performing in clubs around the country and opening up for groups like The Mamas & the Papas and Hall & Oates before he sensed a need change direction. He began serving in youth ministry in Connecticut and in 2000 founded Movin’ With The Spirit, Inc., dedicated to proclaiming God’s eternal truth and love. Since then, he has spoken to hundreds of thousands of teens and adults across the country and internationally. Travelling as part of a mission trip to Haiti in 2002, he felt called to serve the poor. He went to work mobilizing a team and Haiti180 was born.
Haiti180 founded and now runs an orphanage, a Catholic school, medical clinic, and two nursing homes and feeds some 600 persons a day in Haiti.
