This weekend the Catholic Relief Services Collection will be taken up in parishes in the Diocese of Fall River along with those in most dioceses across the United States. Your support for this collection aids victims of persecution and natural disasters, provides legal services to poor immigrants, and advocates for the powerless. Through your generosity, six Catholic agencies reveal Christ’s love to the vulnerable refugee, the immigrant family, and those who are poor and marginalized.
Among agencies supported by this collection is CRS or Catholic Relief Services, the official international humanitarian agency of the Catholic community in the United States. CRS and its Caritas partners are on the ground in Ukraine and in bordering countries, providing safe shelter, hot meals, hygiene supplies, transport to safe areas, counseling support and more. Learn about its work in Ukraine here.
Parishioners of the Diocese of Fall River join their brothers and sisters from across the country in supporting this Catholic Relief Services national collection this weekend. Learn more about the collection at www.usccb.org/catholic-relief.
