Women and Men Religious are invited to this annual day of camaraderie, reflection, Eucharist and celebration with Bishop Edgar M. da Cunha, S.D.V.
The theme of the day is Sustaining the Hope to which we have been called (Ephesians 1:18).

Presenter will be Sr. Margaret E. Guider, who is a member of the Sisters of St. Francis of Mary Immaculate of Joliet, Ill.

In 1990, Sr. Guider joined the faculty of Weston Jesuit School of Theology in Cambridge, Massachusetts and in 2008, she became a member of the ecclesiastical faculty of the School of Theology and Ministry at Boston College. Working in the area of Systematic Theology, her teaching and research interests focus primarily on ecclesiology and missiology. Currently, she is working on a book length manuscript entitled With Hearts Broken Open: U.S. Franciscan Missionaries in Latin America, the Caribbean and Africa (1879-2019). Among her most recent publications is a co-edited volume entitled The Grace of Medellín: History, Theology and Legacy: Reflections on the Significance of Medellín for the Church in the United States. Sr. Guider is the Past-President of the Association of Professors of Mission and former president of the American Society of Missiology. She has served as an advisor and consultant for numerous religious institutes and missionary societies as well as a trustee and board member for a variety of Catholic institutions and organizations.
