The Fall River Diocesan Council of Catholic Women (DCCW) will gather for their Annual Meeting on Saturday, May 18th. They extend a cordial invitation to all women of the Diocese to join them. A 9 a.m. Mass at Our Lady of Grace Church in Westport will begin the program to be followed by a catered breakfast. Guest presenter will be Father Peter Scheffer, who is pastor of the three parishes in Westport, Mass., Our Lady of Grace, St. George, and St. John the Baptist. A short meeting will follow his presentation.
The DCCW endeavors to offer programs and projects that respond with Gospel values to the needs of the Church and society. Its membership is made up of women from various parishes of the Fall River Diocese. The DCCW is a member of the National Council of Catholic Women.
