Encountering the Divine Physician is the theme of this four-part Lenten Mission offered for the Fall River Deanery. All are welcome to attend to rediscover the power of God’s grace through the Mission’s reflection on Jesus, the Divine Physician. It will be offered by Fr. John Maria Devaney, a former radio DJ and currently chaplain at Dartmouth College and host of the SiriusXM radio show, “Word to Life,” whose talks will focus on how God’s grace transforms us. As a Missionary of Mercy commissioned by Pope Francis, he comes with the commission to be “living sign of the Father’s welcome to all those in search of his forgiveness…”
