Mass for Healing, Praying for Mental Health
October is Mental Health Awareness month. In recognition of the impact that mental health challenges can have on individuals, their families and caregivers, Bishop Edgar da Cunha, S.D.V., will offer a special Mass on Sunday, October 29th, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. at the Cathedral of St. Mary of the Assumption on Second Street in Fall River. This Mass will be offered for those who have lost a loved one to suicide, drug and alcohol use, or mental illness. In addition, it will be offered for those who are currently experiencing mental health challenges. All are welcome!
A Book of Remembrance will be offered during the Mass for those who have died. If you would like to submit a name or names of loved ones, please email FR-Reception@ccfrdioc.org, with the subject line: Name for Remembrance Book.
