All are invited to this special Mass honoring Bishop Edgar M. da Cunha, S.D.V., as he observes this year the 20th anniversary of his Episcopal Ordination along with the 41st anniversary of his Ordination to the Priesthood and the 9th anniversary of his Installation as Bishop of Fall River. The Mass will be celebrated in St. Mary’s Cathedral, Fall River. A reception will follow the Mass on the Cathedral grounds.
St. John Paul II appointed then Father da Cunha an Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of Newark in June 2003, and he was ordained a Bishop on September 3, 2003 in the Sacred Heart Cathedral Basilica in Newark.
