Procession and Mass for Peace

The annual candlelight Procession and Mass for Peace will take place as is tradition on the Columbus Day holiday. However the procession will this year will be reversed: marchers will gather in the area of St. Anne’s Church to process to St. Mary’s Cathedral, where the Mass for Peace will take place. Procession will depart from St. Anne Church at 6 p.m. (Marchers should congregate there by 5:30 p.m.) The Mass will begin at 7 p.m. at the Cathedral. Bishop Edgar M. da Cunha, S.D.V., will be principal celebrant and homilist. It is anticipated that Mass will conclude at 8:30 p.m. Participants are asked to bring their own candles for the procession.
