This is the first of a three-part Summer Speaker Series evening hosted by Holy Trinity Parish, West Harwich, looking at St. Francis of Assisi during this Jubilee Year celebrating 800 years since his birth. Tonight’s topic is “Francis the Troubadour,” to be presented by Franciscan Father Rick Martignetti.
The evening features Mass with an extended homily on the topic followed by a Parish Cookout hosted by the Knights of Columbus. All are welcome.
The series continues on consecutive Tuesdays, July 21, “Francis the Mystic,” presented by Father Mike MacInnis of St. John’s Seminary; and July 28, “Francis the Prophet,” with Deborah Zane, who is a Secular Franciscan.
