A Jubilee Mass on this day will culminate the yearlong celebration of the 125th anniversary of the founding of St. Stanislaus Parish in Fall River. This year, the parish is also commemorating the 30th anniversary of the dedication of its new church. Bishop Edgar M. da Cunha, S.D.V., will be principal celebrant and homilist for the Jubilee Mass. A celebration breakfast will follow the Mass in the school auditorium. Tickets for the breakfast are free but pre-registration is required. Tickets are available in the narthex of St. Stanislaus Church after 9:00 Mass or by calling the school office at 508-674-6771 or the parish office at 508-673-2833. Tickets are limited and reservations for the breakfast must be made no later than October 27th.
The 125th Anniversary Committee is encouraging parishioners past and present to join them, noting that it “is a great way to honor our parents, grandparents and great grandparents who built our parish on the foundation of their faith and rich Polish culture.”
