The parishes in the Taunton Deanery are sponsoring a joint Lenten Mission from March 28 to 31, at 7 p.m. The first two-evenings of the Mission (March 28 & 29) will be offered in St. Ann Church in Raynham and the other two (March 30 & 31) in St. Andrew the Apostle Church, Taunton.

Preaching the Mission is Deacon Christopher Paul, who is director of Adult and Child Discipleship within the Fall River Diocesan Secretariat for the New Evangelization.

The mission will be offered in context of Mass for the first three evenings and a communal penance service for the final night during which Confession will be available.

All are encouraged to come to all or as many of the sessions as one’s schedule allows.

Deacon Paul has served in parish ministry and Catholic education in New Hampshire for more than 20 years. Ordained a permanent deacon in 2014, the Lord inspired him and his wife Michelle to move to Fall River in August 2021. He is always excited to share his passion for the Gospel and his conviction that all the faithful are called to the summit of holiness.
