Bangs was ordained to the priesthood for ministry in the Diocese of Fall River by Bishop Edgar M. da Cunha, S.D.V., in an Ordination Mass on Saturday, June 1, in St. Mary’s Cathedral in Fall River. Father Bangs is 27 years old and the of Robert and Joanne Bangs of Barnstable. On Sunday, June 2, he celebrated his first Holy Mass of Thanksgiving in Corpus Christi Church in East Sandwich, his home parish.
