Crossroads Cultural Center and the Movement of Communion and Liberation are presenting the exhibit, “A People, A Face, A Newness in the Rubble.” The exhibit is a dialogue with Christian refugees in the Middle East, and consists of a series of panels and a short video. The exhibit will be presented in the Memorial Chapel of St. Mary’s Parish, New Bedford, after all Masses (4:00 p.m. Saturday/8:30 and 10:30 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. on Sunday) on the weekend of April 16…

A presentation and discussion of Conversion for Lent, a film and study program produced by Bishop Robert Barron, will take place over three Monday evenings in the parish's Father Unsworth Hospitality Center. Known for his widely-acclaimed Catholicism series, Bishop Barron is an auxiliary bishop in the Los Angeles Archdiocese. His Lenten series looks at conversion through Jesus' relationship with Matthew, Jonah, and the women at the well.

This New Bedford Deanery Lenten Retreat will be offered two times a day in the context of Masses at 12 noon and 7 p.m. Jesuit Father Jack Butler, who is vice president for Mission and Ministry at Boston College, will lead the retreat. Coming to the college in 2002, he served first in campus ministry and then concurrently as director of BC's Manresa House and as director of Vocations for the New England Province of the Society of Jesuits.
