FALL RIVER — On Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 10, the diocesan office of the Pro-Life Apostolate and Project Rachel is hosting a Mother’s Day Mass at 10 a.m. that will include the Rite of Blessing for a Child in the Womb. The Mass will be live streamed on the Pro-Life Apostolate Facebook page at  facebook.com/prolifeofficefallriver.

Diocesan Pro-Life Apostolate Director Irina DeLucca explained that the Mass is for the intention of all expecting and pregnant mothers, all mothers contemplating abortion, and all mothers who have been impacted by COVID-19 – physically or financially.

Celebrant of the Mass will be Father Richard Wilson, who is Vicar General for the Fall River Diocese and pastor of Holy Family Parish in East Taunton.

DeLucca extends an invitation to all “to join us virtually for this special occasion and to pray for everyone, especially mothers, who have been impacted by the effects of this virus.”
